Senior Finance Manager

A well‑established organization operating within the industrial, manufacturing, and engineering sector, based in Kempton Park, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead its finance function. This role requires someone who can operate confidently across project accounting, inventory, and financial controls, while supporting business performance in a fast‑moving, operational environment.

Youll play a key role in ensuring financial integrity, supporting project delivery, and driving performance across a technically demanding business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full finance function, including reporting, controls, and compliance
• Oversee project accounting, ensuring accurate cost tracking and profitability analysis
• Manage stock and inventory accounting, including controls and reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and reporting packs
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, and governance frameworks
• Support audit processes and strengthen internal controls (SOX beneficial)
• Partner with operational teams to support project and production performance
• Drive improvements in processes, systems, and financial visibility

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• CA(SA) or CIMA qualification
• Minimum 5+ years experience in a Finance Manager / Senior Finance role
• Strong exposure to industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or project‑based environments
• Proven experience with project accounting and cost management
• Solid understanding of stock and inventory accounting
• Exposure to SOX controls advantageous
• Strong analytical, reporting, and leadership capability
• Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, operational environment
