Typical responsibilities within these roles include:
- Leading financial management functions including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial planning
- Providing strategic insights and partnering with senior stakeholders to drive business performance
- Overseeing month-end processes, journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and annual financial statements
- Developing financial models, analysing performance against forecasts, and supporting decision-making
- Driving finance transformation, process improvements, and strong governance practices
- Leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing finance teams
What our clients are looking for:
- CA(SA) qualification (essential)
- 47 years post-articles experience
- Previous experience within Insurance / Financial Services
- Strong IFRS, reporting, and technical accounting exposure
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and managing finance teams
- Strong commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
