As part of the Finance department, you will contribute to key treasury and finance operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth day-to-day functions. This is a great opportunity to grow within an innovative global brand.

As the Treasury Assistant you will responsible for the following: Treasury Management
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure prompt transaction processing
  • Maintain accurate banking records, including user access management
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end bank closures
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and foreign exchange reporting
  • Liaise with banking partners and assist with SARB applications
  • Prepare monthly treasury reconciliations and audit-ready reports
External Audit Support
  • Serve as a primary liaison for external auditors
  • Compile required documentation and resolve audit-related queries
Tax & Statutory Compliance
  • Assist with tax calculations and statutory filings
  • Support the Tax Specialist in company secretarial and tax compliance
  • Help resolve tax issues and mitigate financial risks
Month-End Closing
  • Prepare journal entries for review
  • Ensure accurate recording of SG&A expenses and timely clearing
Corporate Card Administration
  • Manage the corporate card platform, including user support and limit adjustments
  • Investigate and reconcile accounts, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
Reporting
  • Assist with monthly and ad-hoc reports for CFO, Finance Manager, Head Office, Regional HQ, and auditors

Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom in Accounting or Financial Management

SAIPA, SAICA, or CIMA qualification (advantageous)
Minimum 3 years experience in account reconciliation
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite

Strong analytical thinking and sound financial acumen
