Our client is a specialist transformation advisory firm delivering high-impact B-BBEE, Transformation, and DEI solutions to JSE-listed, unlisted, and non-profit organisations across Sub-Saharan Africa.

They are seeking a commercially astute, technically authoritative Senior B-BBEE Transformation Specialist to drive complex client mandates, shape executive-level strategy, and contribute meaningfully to their firm’s growth and intellectual leadership.

  1. Job Purpose
The incumbent will lead complex client mandates, shape transformation strategy at the Board and EXCO level, and contribute meaningfully to the firm’s intellectual capital and revenue growth.
  1. Key Accountabilities

 A.  Strategic Transformation Advisory

Lead comprehensive transformation diagnostics across client organisations.
Design multi-year transformation roadmaps aligned to commercial strategy and regulatory requirements.
Advise Boards and EXCO on transformation risk exposure, optimisation pathways, and beyond-compliance positioning.
Integrate transformation strategy across Ownership, Procurement, HR, Enterprise & Supplier Development, and Socio-Economic Development pillars.

Provide forward-looking interpretation of policy developments and sector code amendments.

The Senior B-BBEE Transformation Specialist is a commercially astute, technically authoritative advisor responsible for designing and delivering complex, high-impact transformation strategies for JSE-listed, multinational, and high-growth organisations.

The incumbent will lead complex client mandates, shape transformation strategy at the Board and EXCO level, and contribute meaningfully to the firm’s intellectual capital and revenue growth.
  1. Qualifications and related experiences
Experience
8–12+ years’ progressive experience in B-BBEE advisory, transformation consulting, or ownership structuring.
Demonstrated experience advising listed or large enterprise clients.
Proven exposure to ownership transaction evaluation and implementation.

Strong executive-level stakeholder engagement experience.

Qualifications

Minimum: Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, Development Studies, MDP, or related field.

Advantageous: Postgraduate qualification (MBA, MCom, LLB or similar).

CA(SA), CFA or equivalent professional credential.
