Role Purpose
The Senior HR & Administration Manager balances strategic oversight with meticulous, hands-on execution. You will oversee group risk and employee benefits, manage sensitive advisor fund accounts, champion core HR operations, and act as a procedurally flawless chairperson for employee relations.This position demands an absolute commitment to confidentiality, high-level financial numeracy, and a rigorous compliance mindset.
Key Responsibilities- Group Risk & Health Benefit Administration: Act as the sole custodian of the companys Group Risk and Health benefits programmes (managed via leading national providers). Oversee monthly data schedules, perform pre-billing verification to eliminate discrepancies before month-end, and seamlessly coordinate employee claims (Life, Disability, Funeral, etc.).
- Advisor Reserve Fund Management: Execute highly sensitive financial administration by managing internal registers and external investment platform balances for financial advisors. Reconcile data monthly, process authorized withdrawals, calculate interest/fees, and distribute monthly statements.
- Core HR Operations & Compliance: Lead the full recruitment lifecycle, onboarding, and performance review cycles. Ensure the business continuously meets its Employment Equity, BBBEE, and WSP/ATR statutory reporting obligations.
- Employee Relations & Legal Proceedings: Serve as the fair and unbiased Chairperson for disciplinary and grievance hearings. Maintain a tight collaborative relationship with external labor law consultants to ensure 100% procedural compliance with the Labour Relations Act (LRA).
- Executive & Finance Liaison: Partner directly with the Co-CEOs and the internal Finance department to align payroll deductions, recoupments, and corporate expense allocations.
- Experience: Proven track record in a senior-level HR and operational administration capacity, ideally within a corporate, financial services, or advisory environment.
- Financial Numeracy: Exceptional capability in handling billing statements, platform balances, interest allocations, and payroll data. You must spot a numerical variance immediately.
- Compliance DNA: A deep, functional understanding of South African labor legislation (LRA, BCEA), corporate compliance frameworks (FICA, POPIA), and employee benefit structures.
- Uncompromising Discretion: Proven history of managing highly sensitive records, employee grievances, and executive-level data with absolute confidentiality.
