Key responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with retail buyers and category managers
  • Drive sell-through performance across stores
  • Lead commercial negotiations (pricing, margins, rebates, promotions)
  • Secure and manage promotional space and in-store visibility
  • Analyse sales data to guide decisions
  • Oversee merchandising, displays, and promotions execution
  • Forecast demand and align stock with retail cycles
  • Monitor account performance and stock movement
  • Resolve risks (stockouts, overstocking, slow-moving inventory)
  • Ensure operational efficiency across retail channels
  • Expand listings, shelf space, and category presence

Non-negotiable requirements:

  • 3 5 years current or previous Retail Sales Manager experience.
  • Direct experience managing major national retail chains
  • Established relationships with retail buyers/category managers
  • Proven track record of negotiating and strategizing with retail buyers outcomes
  • Strong commercial and financial understanding (margins, pricing, promotional ROI)
  • Advanced Excel/data analysis capability
