HR Administrator
Ubuntu Markets is a registered and licenced Brokerage company based in Sandton.
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to support our HR Department. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of all HR functions and maintaining compliance with internal processes and labour regulations.The ideal candidate should possess strong administrative capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Industrial Relations:
Managed daily IR matters and attended CCMA/Bargaining Council disputes. Conducted exit interviews and assisted managers in evidence gathering. Chaired grievance matters and provides IR administration support.
Onboarding and Off boarding: Managing the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are integrated smoothly into the organization. Handling off boarding procedures for departing employees, including exit interviews and necessary documentation.
Policy Amendments and Reviews:
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures related to HR functions. Assisting in reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures as needed.
Leave and Absenteeism Reports:
Compiling and submitting weekly leave reports to the HR Executive
Time and Attendance Management:
Managing employee time and attendance records using biometrics systems. Ensuring the data is accurate for payroll purposes.
Employee Queries: Providing assistance and guidance to employees regarding HR-related queries.
Training & Development
Supporting the Training Department with administrative work through internal systems and policy updates.
Contract Drafting: Drafting employment contracts for new hires and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Day-to-Day Administration: Handling general administrative tasks to support HR operations effective, e.g. Employee file maintenance
Payroll Input: Prepare input for payroll processing. Leave administration and pay queries. Maintained EE data and compiled monthly payroll reports. Handled statutory reporting and payroll administration. UIF forms.
Required skills and experience- 2+ years of experience working in HR

- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite( Advanced Excel added advantage)
- Able to work with minimal supervison
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- This position requires a Diploma/ Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management and or related fields.
Salary: Market Related.
