HR Administrator

As an HR Administrator, you’ll play a central role in ensuring the smooth execution of key HR processes across the employee lifecycle. From onboarding and benefits coordination to compliance and employee engagement, you’ll be the go-to support for day-to-day operations within a fast-paced and people-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update employee records with a strong focus on accuracy and confidentiality
  • Prepare employment documentation including contracts, confirmation letters, and policy updates
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics including welcome packs, system access, and exit checklists
  • Capture and verify HR data and ensure systems are up to date
  • Schedule probation reviews, training interventions, and general follow-ups
  • Advertise vacancies, coordinate interviews, and conduct reference checks
  • Prepare offer letters and track recruitment activity
  • Assist with orientation logistics and induction planning
  • Support the administration of employee benefits and wellness programmes
  • Assist employees with benefit queries and documentation
  • Ensure employee files and documentation meet audit and legal requirements
  • Maintain data integrity across HR records and systems
  • Coordinate internal engagement activities, wellness events, and recognition programmes
  • Assist with the logistics and coordination of disciplinary, grievance, or counselling sessions

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • 2+ years’ experience in an HR administrative or support role
  • Solid knowledge of HR practices and legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, Skills Development Act)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience using HR platforms or HRIS is advantageous
