Housekeeping Manager

• South African citizen
• Minimum 5 years experience within a hospitality environment
• Minimum 3 years managerial experience in housekeeping operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
• Knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and infection control procedures
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work weekends, shifts, and public holidays as required

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional service standards
• Oversee cleaning operations across the property, public areas, staff facilities, and support areas
• Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure luxury hospitality standards are maintained
• Manage laundry operations and housekeeping resources effectively

• Recruit, train, and onboard housekeeping staff in line with company standards
• Monitor staff performance and conduct performance reviews
• Prepare staff rosters and ensure adequate shift coverage

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and infection control standards
• Maintain housekeeping records, stock controls, and equipment maintenance logs
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and housekeeping-related concerns professionally and efficiently
