Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to perform a variety of maintenance, repair, and improvement tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repair work on buildings, equipment, and fixtures.
- Repair plumbing issues such as leaks, clogged drains, and faulty fixtures.
- Conduct basic electrical repairs, including replacing switches, outlets, and light fixtures.
- Carry out carpentry work, including repairing doors, cabinets, and furniture.
- Paint and patch walls, ceilings, and other surfaces.
- Install shelves, fixtures, and other building components.
- Inspect facilities and identify maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
- Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance technician, or similar role.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and painting.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Valid driver's license (preferred).
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Trade certification or vocational training.
- Experience working in residential, commercial, or industrial maintenance.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
