Junior Multimedia Designer

Duties and responsibilities:

• Edit and produce engaging short-form video content for social media, including reels and other digital formats, ensuring content aligns with current campaigns and brand guidelines.
• Work closely with the Lead Designer, Strategist, and Copywriterto ensure video content supports overall brand direction and campaign messaging.
• Adapt and repurpose existing campaign creative into video-first content for social media platforms, maintaining consistency in look, tone, and messaging.
• Assist with the basic layout and preparation of digital creative assetswhen required, particularly for social media and other digital platforms.
• Maintain clear folder structures and organised project filesfor video editing workflows, maintaining folder structures that keep assets safe and links intact.
• Implement feedback efficiently, demonstrating the ability to apply constructive criticism and refine work accordingly.
• Support the creative team with basic motion graphics, titles, and simple animationsfor video content.
• Opportunity to attend photoshoots or video shootsas experience grows. Skills in phone video shooting either handheld or with a gimbal/stand are an advantage.

Requirements:

• Up to 3 years experience as a Junior Multimedia Designer or in a related role.
• Relevant degree or diploma qualification in Multimedia Design.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Proficient in After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Understanding of sound design, video timing/pace, and rules of animation.
• Good knowledge and passion/interest in e-comms and social media design.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Fast and efficient and have incredible attention to detail.
• Must be highly organised and remain composed under pressure.
• Must be a team player.
