Operations Manager – Recycling

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
• Manage budgets, cost control, and resource allocation; implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
• Develop and implement strategic and operational plans aligned with organizational objectives.
• Lead, train, and mentor managers and operational teams.
• Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Optimize processes using lean or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, fleet, and plant machinery to minimize downtime.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal departments.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or diploma (management certification advantageous).
• Extensive management experience in Waste Management, Recycling, or Manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of EE, OSH, SHE, LRA, and BCE legislation.
• Proven financial acumen and ability to analyze operational metrics.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Own reliable transportation.
