Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic financial leadership and partner with the CEO and executive team to drive business growth.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, governance frameworks, and financial controls.
- Lead capital planning and financial evaluation of major mining projects and investments.
- Manage financial risk, optimize cost structures, and support operational efficiencies.
- Lead and develop the finance team while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with the Board, investors, and external partners.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Education:
- Chartered Accountant CA(SA) (non-negotiable).
- Experience:
- Extensive senior financial leadership experience.
- Strong exposure to the mining, resources, or heavy industrial sector.
- Proven experience operating at an executive level and partnering with senior leadership.
- Demonstrated experience managing large finance teams and complex financial environments.
- Experience with capital projects, financial modelling, and strategic planning.
