This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth within the company.

• Monitor and track the fleet's daily operations, including vehicle location, fuel consumption, and driver performance
• Coordinate with drivers and dispatchers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
• Schedule and oversee vehicle maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure safety
• Review and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving measures
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and vendors
• Train and mentor new drivers and provide ongoing support and guidance to existing drivers
• Ensure compliance with all transportation laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate records and reports on fleet performance and expenses
• Collaborate with other departments to improve overall efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments and implement best practices within the fleet department Qualifications and Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or transportation is a plus
• Proven experience as a Fleet Controller or similar role in the transportation industry
• Strong knowledge of transportation laws, regulations, and safety procedures
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Proficient in using fleet management software and GPS tracking systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
