The Junior Team Leader is responsible for assisting with the successful execution ofsolar PV installation projects on site. The role involves leading an installation team, ensuring that work is completed safely, correctly, efficiently and according to the
approved design, scope of work and company standards. The Junior Team Leader acts
as the link between the installation team and the Project Manager, ensuring that
instructions are understood, progress is monitored and any site issues are
communicated promptly. The position is intended to develop the employee into a
competent Solar Team Leader / Site Supervisor.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate the installation team on site.

Monitor progress against the project programme.
Ensure installations are completed according to approved drawings andspecifications.
Check workmanship throughout the installation.
Identify installation problems before they become major issues.
Report delays, technical problems or additional work requirements to the ProjectManager.
Maintain good communication between the installation team and management.
Assist with coordinating subcontractors and other site personnel whererequired.
The Junior Team Leader is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the installation teamunder their supervision performs its work safely, efficiently, professionally and to the
required quality standard, while keeping the Project Manager informed of progress, problems and requirements.
