Our client is looking for a highly organised and operationally strong Import Supply & Procurement Manager to take ownership of procurement execution, international shipment coordination, inventory replenishment, and supply continuity across a dynamic import-driven business.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving operational environment and understands how procurement, shipping, forecasting, warehousing, and inventory all connect to business performance.
You will play a key role in ensuring stock availability, managing inbound shipments from suppliers through to warehouse delivery, supporting replenishment planning, and proactively managing operational supply chain risks.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Supply Management- Manage end-to-end procurement and replenishment activities
- Coordinate supplier orders, shipment schedules, and lead times
- Monitor stockholding, supply continuity, and operational demand requirements
- Support procurement planning and inventory optimization
- Coordinate inbound international shipments from factory loading through to warehouse delivery
- Manage freight forwarders, clearing agents, and logistics providers
- Track shipments, ETAs, customs clearance, and delivery timelines
- Resolve shipment delays and supply chain disruptions proactively
- Monitor stock movement, forecasting trends, and replenishment requirements
- Identify stock-out risks, overstock exposure, and supply gaps
- Support warehouse coordination, stock balancing, and inventory visibility
- Assist with managing ageing and slow-moving stock
- Work extensively on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Netstock
- Prepare operational reports including:
- Shipment tracking
- ETA reporting
- Inventory risk analysis
- Procurement pipeline visibility
- Forecast reporting
- Utilise Excel for operational reporting and analysis
Requirements
Experience- Minimum 5 years experience in:
- Procurement
- Import shipping
- Supply planning
- Supply chain operations
- Strong experience managing international shipments and inbound logistics
- Proven experience working with freight forwarders, clearing agents, and suppliers
- Experience in FMCG, imported goods, food, beverage, or distribution environments advantageous
- Strong Excel and reporting capability
- ERP system experience essential
- Experience with:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Netstock
will be highly advantageous
