What You Bring to the Table- The Credentials: A Degree (BSc/BEng in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a BCom in Supply Chain/Logistics).
- The Track Record: 5+ years of Procurement Management experience within industrial manufacturing, repairs, or maintenance environments.
- Leadership Muscle: 5+ years of experience managing teams and delivering results through others.
- Tech Savvy: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (Syspro highly preferred) and the Office 365 suite.
- The Mindset: A results-oriented professional who is highly accountable, deadline-driven, and ready to travel both locally and globally.
- Strategic Leadership: Manage and mentor a dedicated procurement team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
- Global Sourcing: Navigate international buying and freight coordination to ensure our manufacturing and maintenance arms never miss a beat.
- Process Excellence: Take ownership of the ERP/MRP landscape (Syspro), ensuring data integrity and streamlined electronic requisition workflows.
- Bottom-Line Influence: Use your negotiation prowess to drive cost reduction and conduct deep-market research for innovative alternative suppliers.
