Position Overview
Our client, based in Rosslyn, Pretoria, is seeking an ambitious and confident Marketing Graduate who is eager to build a successful career in Business Development within the manufacturing industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified graduate to gain practical commercial experience while working towards becoming a Business Development Executive.
The successful candidate will receive hands-on exposure to client relationship management, lead generation, new business development, sales activities and the company's products and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with identifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research and identify potential clients within target markets.
- Generate new sales leads through proactive prospecting.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with new and existing clients.
- Assist with quotations, proposals and client presentations.
- Support the Business Development team with sales and marketing activities.
- Attend client meetings and gain practical exposure to business development.
- Maintain accurate client and prospect information.
- Learn and develop a thorough understanding of the company's products, services and manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Commerce or a related qualification essential.
- Recently graduated or up to 2 years' commercial experience.
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle essential.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong relationship-building abilities.
- Highly organised, confident and eager to learn.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Strong interest in sales, marketing and business development.
