The Role: Internal Sales & Lead Generation ExecutiveThe role exists to support both internal and external sales teams while improving customer penetration across key industry sectors and product groups. The main focus areas include developing business opportunities, managing enquiries from initial contact to order completion, analysing CRM data, and creating targeted campaigns based on industry, geography, seasonality, trends, and customer attributes.
Key Responsibilities- Utilise 2-4 years of required experience within a proactive sales environment to develop, prepare, and manage targeted lead generation campaigns across South Africa regions.
- Conduct follow-up activities on leads, catalogue requests, quotations, and customer enquiries to increase conversion rates.
- Mine CRM and sales intelligence data to identify prospects, sales opportunities, and track campaign performance.
- Work closely with sales teams and country managers to develop campaign plans, sales tactics, and book product demonstrations.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, campaign reports, customer databases, and assist with regional events.
- Support the introduction and promotion of new products and initiatives in line with company objectives.
- Required 2-4 years experience within a proactive sales environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- PC literate with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and varied environment and work effectively within a team.
- Positive outlook, resilient attitude, emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence and build relationships over the phone.
- Sales training, a graduate qualification, B2B sales experience, and CRM experience (desirable).
