Key Responsibilities
HR & Compliance- Ensure compliance with SA labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EE, BBBEE, Skills Development, MIBCO)
- Maintain audit-ready HR documentation and EE files
- Support DoEL inspections and reporting
- Manage full recruitment lifecycle (RJF approvals onboarding)
- Coordinate interviews, shortlisting, and verification checks
- Liaise with agencies and ensure EE compliance in hiring
- Support internships & apprenticeships (MERSETA aligned)
- Handle disciplinary processes, investigations, and hearings
- Represent the company at CCMA (with HR Specialist)
- Support line managers on IR matters and best practices
- Manage performance reviews, counselling, and probation tracking
- Facilitate exit processes and conduct exit interviews
- Compile monthly HR reports
- Manage payroll inputs (SPN/WPN, allowances)
- Coordinate union engagements and shop steward meetings
- Oversee HR documentation, inductions, and plant HR admin
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in HR / Industrial Psychology
- Degree (advantageous)
- 34 years HR experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
