We are seeking motivated and self-driven individuals to join a structured 3-year Millwright Apprenticeship Programme. This opportunity combines practical workplace training with theoretical learning to develop skills in electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
Minimum Requirements
Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Physical Science
OR Technical N2/N3 qualification with relevant trade subjects
Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
Exposure to PLC/HMI systems advantageous
Skills & Competencies
Troubleshooting and fault-finding abilities
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
Strong safety awareness
Good problem-solving skills
Physically fit and able to work under pressure
Willingness to learn and work within a team environment
Key Responsibilities
Assist Millwrights with electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks
Participate in practical and theoretical apprenticeship training
Assist with fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance
Conduct inspections under supervision
Maintain safe working practices and good housekeeping
Assist with installation and maintenance of machinery and equipment
Complete training logs and maintenance documentation accurately
Attend training sessions and trade-related assessments as required
