Duty Manager - Port Elizabeth

Requirements:

• Formal Hotel Qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 23 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry.
• Experience in both Front Office and Food and Beverage operations.
• Ability to work various shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and split shifts.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
• Ability to train, motivate, and supervise staff.
• Computer literacy, including experience with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage cash handling procedures and daily reconciliations.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to oversee daily hotel operations and ensure service standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel.
• Ensure exceptional guest service is consistently delivered.
• Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests efficiently.
• Support and supervise all operational departments.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Conduct daily operational checks and duty management reports.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
