Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily plant and retail operations, including production planning, inventory control, and order fulfilment across wholesale, export, and retail channels.
• Lead, supervise, and support operational teams to ensure productivity, adherence to company policies, and the consistent achievement of operational targets.
• Monitor and maintain quality, hygiene, and food safety standards, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulations and internal procedures.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to optimize workflows, manage costs, and ensure the efficient and timely delivery of products.
• Track operational performance through key metrics, resolve operational challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and service levels.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree, or completed a tertiary qualification
• Minimum 10 years experience in an operations management role.
• Must have operations management experience in food manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience in client engagement and relationship management, with a strong track record of negotiating and managing exclusive client agreements.
• Experience managing large operational teams and complex production environments.
