Responsibilities:

Supervision
  1. Provides leadership to assigned personnel through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication.
  2. Conducts regular meetings to ensure that personnel are well informed of changes in policies and procedures.
  3. Discusses areas needing improvement.
  4. Assigns and coordinates personnel.
  5. Directs daily operations Identifies, develops, and implements training programs as appropriate Conducts performance appraisals.
  6. Provides measurable feedback to assigned personnel and suggestions for improved performance. Formulates and implements employee corrective actions as needed.
Advancing Student Accommodation In Conjunction with Resident Manager and Student Life Officer.
  1. Assumes responsibility for advancing the student accommodation offering.
  2. Participates in a variety of meetings, committees and teams to communicate information regarding services, programs, areas of opportunity, and information as appropriate.
  3. Participates in service model goal setting and planning, including short-term and long-term planning.
  4. Collects and analyses a variety of data and information across various spectrums of the building as requested.
  5. Develops and strengthens co-operative relationships relevant University support departments
Year End
  1. Arrear Management
  2. Motivation for Handovers and write offs
  3. December deep cleaning Oversea with RM
  4. Manage process on stay over students
  5. Do Walk abouts with RM, and Ops Manager to identify maintenance and technical requirements

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications:

  1. Matric (Must)
  2. BSc or BSc Honours in Property Studies or BCom in Accounting (with or without Honours)
  3. Professional Designated Exam (EAAB) will be advantageous (Must hold an FFC certificate)

Experience:

  1. 3-5 years experience in similar role
  2. Audit experience will be an added advantage.
