SENIOR FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER

• Location: Bryanston, Johannesburg
• Salary: R25,000 R28,000

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior FOH or hospitality management role
• Senior management experience
• Computer literacy
• Own transport & valid driver's license
• Strong command of English (verbal and written)

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience & Service:

• Ensure guests are greeted courteously and service exceeds expectations
• Anticipate and resolve customer needs and complaints swiftly
• Ensure effective and speedy service delivery and queue management
• Maintain a high profile with guests and staff throughout all FOH areas

Operations & Standards:

• Set, manage and enforce FOH service and operational standards
• Conduct systematic checks of all FOH areas for maintenance requirements
• Ensure all FOH staff are uniformed and fully prepared for duty
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and SA legislation
• Control stock, conduct stock takes and manage company assets

People Management & Training:

• Lead, coach and develop FOH staff to company standards
• Provide ongoing training to new recruits and existing employees
• Hold staff accountable and discipline staff accordingly
• Ensure effective liaison between FOH and BOH team members

Administration & Reporting:

• Balance cashier sales control sheets daily
• Submit accurate and timeous operational reports
• Monitor industry trends and make implementation suggestions
• Contribute to growth and profits through effective administration
• Actively promote the brand within the local community
