Responsibilities
Including, but not limited to:
- Maintain bookkeeping records up to trial balance
- Process supplier invoices, perform reconciliations, and manage payments
- Administer municipal accounts, including handling queries and meter reconciliations
- Prepare and submit VAT and dividends tax returns
- Compile monthly management accounts/packs
- Prepare annual audit files and supporting documentation
- Assist with basic payroll processing and payroll tax administration
- Provide support to the Financial Manager with:
- Reviewing payment packs
- Monitoring company tax liabilities
- Compiling and reviewing management accounts
- Performing basic CIPC secretarial duties
- BCom Degree with Accounting as a major
- Recent graduate (or limited working experience)
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office
- Exposure to accounting software packages will be advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, open-plan environment
