Job Title: Electrical Foreman (Manufacturing)

Reporting to: Engineering ManagerSeniority Level: Mid Career (Above 6 yrs exp)Location: KZN Midlands

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Carry out repairs and planned maintenance to all electrical equipment on site.
• Do electrical installation on new equipment on site.
• Modify and improve existing equipment upon sanction approval to optimize capacity.
• Ensure legal compliance of all electrical installations and equipment.
• Manage a team of electricians, assistants, and apprentices.
• Diagnose and repair faulty machinery.
• Distribute equipment and material to allow the team to perform assigned activities.
• Ensure team adheres to safety standards.
• Coordinate and check work done by the team, reporting deviations to the manager.
• Plan and coordinate daily work routines of electricians, ensuring effective shift cover.
• Manage overtime effectively and within budget.
• Order and control critical spare parts

Work Hours: Ability to work extensive hours and perform standby duties. Capable of fault finding on MV switchgear.

Qualifications:

N6: Electrical Engineering

10 years plus experience
