Finance Lead / Junior Financial Manager

Job Description:

• This role will serve as the second-in-command to the Group Financial Manager, taking on a key leadership position within a dynamic finance team of approximately 15 professionals, including Accountants and Clerks
• The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and delivery of management accounts, providing meaningful financial insights to support strategic decision-making
• This is not a traditional technical accounting role; instead, the focus will be on driving efficiencies and enhancing the finance function through innovation
• A strong emphasis will be placed on leveraging technology, improving systems, implementing automation, and streamlining process flows
• The role is ideally suited to a forward-thinking finance professional who is passionate about modernising finance operations and enabling scalable growth within a fast-evolving business environment.

Skills & Experience:

• CA(SA) or Eligible to register
• Retail industry experience, or audited retail clients during articles
• Advanced Excel
• Exposure to PowerBI. SQL and Python knowledge beneficial
