What youll be responsible for:
- Full oversight of buildings, grounds, and all facility-related areas
- Managing and leading a team of 8 staff members
- Coordinating and supervising two external contractor teams
- Ensuring maintenance is done proactively, not just reactively
- Overseeing tools, equipment, and general operational resources
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment
- Addressing issues quickly and implementing practical solutions
A background in construction or a strong technical understanding of facilities will be highly beneficial. More importantly, Im looking for someone who is hands-on, practical, and naturally takes responsibility. Someone who doesnt overlook things and doesnt wait to be told what needs attention.
Working Arrangement:
- Accommodation is provided as part of the role
- The position may require availability outside of standard working hours, depending on operational needs
If youre someone who leads by example, takes ownership, and prefers being close to the operation rather than removed from it, this role will suit you well.
