Job Description
The Senior Technical Sales Rep is responsible for driving strategic business development, strengthening client relationships and leading sales growth within the company.
Sales and Business Development- Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities to support growth
- Implement strategic sales plans to increase revenue and market presence
- Ensure professional and consistent engagement with clients at all levels
- Understand clients needs and provide suitable business solutions
- Maintain and update CRM Systems with accurate client and sales information
- Prepare detailed sales reports, pipeline forecasts and performance updates
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales team members when required
- Support management with onboarding and coaching of new sales staff
- Stayed informed on industry developments, market conditions and competitor activities
- Represent the company professionally at client meetings, networking functions and industry events
- Grade 12
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management or related fields
- 5-10 Years sales experience servicing the Mining, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Steel or Industrial industries selling various types of products and services.
- Strong Sales, negotiation and business development capabilities
- CRM Systems and pipeline management tools
- Proposal, quotation, presentation and tender preparation
- Commission
- Petrol Allowance (Will be discussed further)
