We are seeking a dynamic External Sales Representative to spearhead the growth of a Johannesburg division for a leading importer and manufacturer of water treatment products.

This is a unique, high-autonomy role based in Midrand that combines active field sales with hands-on site management. If you thrive in a trade environment and enjoy the challenge of building a regional presence from the ground up, this is the role for you.

• Business Development: Actively prospect and acquire new B2B and retail customers, including hardware stores, contractors, and industrial buyers.
• Account Management: Nurture existing accounts to increase order values and ensure repeat business.
• Operational Management: Take ownership of the Johannesburg warehouse hub, including receiving, dispatching, and maintaining accurate stock records.
• Strategic Planning: Maintain a transparent sales calendar and provide regular pipeline updates to management.
• Target Driven: Consistently meet or exceed a monthly sales target of R200,000.

• Experience: Proven track record in field sales, ideally within the hardware, construction, or industrial sectors.
• Independence: Exceptional self-management skills; you must be comfortable working without daily in-person supervision.
• Versatility: Comfortable balancing client-facing sales with hands-on stock management in a trade/warehouse environment.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in digital communication, email, and shared calendars for remote reporting.
• Compliance: A valid South African drivers licence is non-negotiable.
• Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Johannesburg trade networks is a strong advantage.
