National Facilities Manager - Bellville

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering BSc, BEng or BTech.
• Minimum 810 years' relevant experience in Facilities Management, Engineering or Operations Management.
• Demonstrable experience managing a multi-site or national property portfolio.
• Strong technical knowledge of building services, maintenance and lifecycle management.
• Proven experience managing facilities-related budgets, CAPEX and operational expenditure.
• Experience developing and implementing portfolio-wide facilities and operational strategies.
• Strong experience in multi-site procurement, including specification development, tender methodology, adjudication, vendor evaluation, selection and contract award.
• Proven experience drafting, implementing and managing service contracts and SLAs.
• Experience managing contractor performance, contractual breaches, disputes, penalties and sanctions.
• Experience in sustainability strategy, energy efficiency and utility management.
• Knowledge of carbon measurement and reporting, renewable energy initiatives, wheeling arrangements and Renewable Energy Certificates.
• Experience with utility recovery analysis and improvement.
• Proven experience in lifecycle planning and preventative maintenance programmes.
• Experience with CAPEX planning, scoping and project oversight.
• Strong understanding of statutory, regulatory and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
• Proven ability to lead and influence teams across geographically dispersed locations.
• Strong performance management, conflict resolution and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership, commercial and technical decision-making capability.
