The Junior Accountant will support the finance team across core accounting functions, gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic and operationally focused environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to build on their existing accounting experience within a technical industry.
Duties:
- General accounting and bookkeeping
- Assisting with financial reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Processing journals and maintaining financial records
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes
- Assisting with compliance and audit requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- BCom Accounting or related qualification
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Experience within engineering, construction, or mining environments advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
