Junior Accountant

A reputable and established organisation based in Kempton Park is looking to appoint a Junior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This opportunity offers exposure to a structured finance environment within a business that operates across complex and technical industries.

This role is ideally suited to a BCom-qualified professional who is eager to grow within a hands-on finance role. The successful candidate will gain valuable exposure to the full finance function, supporting financial operations while contributing to the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

The appointed individual will work closely with the finance team to ensure effective financial management, strong controls, and efficient financial processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the full finance function, including reporting and reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly management accounts
• Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations
• Support audit processes and liaise with auditors
• Maintain accurate financial records and improve financial processes
• Assist with cash flow monitoring and financial reporting

Job Experience & Qualifications:

• BCom degree (minimum requirement)
• Exposure to the full finance function
• Strong financial reporting and reconciliation experience
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
