Junior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture and process supplier invoices and credit notes
• Post journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and petty cash
• Assist with payment runs and remittance advice
• Follow up on outstanding customer accounts
• Match purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices
• Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Prepare reconciliations and support audit preparation
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
• Provide administrative and ad-hoc support to the finance team

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2 years relevant accounting or finance experience (internships included)
• Basic understanding of IFRS and accounting principles
• Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables advantageous)
• Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is beneficial
