Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform reconciliations, including bank, creditors, and general ledger accounts.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
• Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Support the audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Analyse financial data and highlight discrepancies or trends.
• Contribute to process improvements and reporting efficiencies.

Requirements:

• Minimum BCom degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Experience within engineering, construction, or mining industries is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset.
