Electrical Project Engineer: Renewable Energy

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate electrical engineering aspects of solar PV and BESS projects across the full project lifecycle
• Review and validate electrical designs, including single-line diagrams, layouts, and equipment specifications
• Liaise with EPC teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance on-site
• Support procurement by evaluating technical submissions and supplier proposals
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, grid codes, and safety standards
• Track project progress, budgets, and timelines, providing technical input to project managers
• Act as a technical point of contact for clients, utilities, and internal stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 2-5 years experience in electrical engineering within renewable energy, power systems, or infrastructure projects
• Proven experience working on solar PV projects (C&I or utility-scale preferred)
• Strong understanding of grid integration, inverters, transformers, and protection systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience with project execution, site supervision, and commissioning processes
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
