Role Overview
A leading multinational professional services firm seeks a hybrid Executive Personal Assistant in Sandton to support the Executive Head: Employee Benefits. Serving as a high-level gatekeeper, you will manage executive administration, corporate governance, and key divisional projects within a fast-paced financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities- Executive Support: Screen correspondence, manage a complex diary, and coordinate local/international travel logistics (including visas).
- Governance & Reporting: Take detailed minutes for Manco, Exco, and carrier meetings; assist in compiling Exco/Board reports and client presentations.
- Project Tracking: Monitor critical divisional workflows, including RFPs (tenders), fund Amalgamations, and benefit Harmonizations.
- Stakeholder Relations: Act as the first point of contact for client queries; oversee logistics for corporate functions, seminars, and member roadshows.
- Operations & Systems: Maintain confidential staff files, conduct online research, and utilize proprietary software for client profitability and HR dashboard reporting.
- Experience: 510 years of experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant supporting senior corporate leadership.
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) plus a relevant secretarial or office administration qualification (an industry-related degree is highly advantageous).
- Industry Knowledge: Strong, practical understanding of the financial services, insurance, or employee benefits sector (retirement funds, medical schemes, and corporate compliance frameworks like POPI/FICA).
- Technical Skills: Advanced computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with fast, highly accurate typing skills.
- Attributes: Proactive, organized multitasker with excellent written/verbal communication skills and absolute corporate discretion.
