About the role

The role supports the Office Manager in maintaining stock Received, capturing Stock data, maintaining Stock database.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving shipments and signing paperwork upon receipt
  • Capturing stock in the system
  • Printing Bar codes and attach to items
  • Allocating Stock to branches
  • Send, capture items that needs to be Couriered to customers
  • Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
  • Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
  • Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified
  • Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements
  • Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
  • Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries
  • Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
Minimum Requirements
  • South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
  • Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
  • Matric.
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and record keeping skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
