Technical Buyer - Automotive Components (Heavy Commercial)

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with existing suppliers to ensure OTIF delivery of the correct parts.
• Source new suppliers where required.
• Negotiate pricing and payment terms.
• Ensure that supplier accounts are paid correctly and timeously.
• Ensure correct stock holding of items to facilitate production.
• Stock and inventory management.
• Check quality and correctness of stock received.
• Procure additional non-stock items as and when required.
• Ensure all dealings with suppliers are recorded correctly strong administration skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications / Skills:

• Grade 12.
• Own vehicle and residing in close proximity to the Client.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Technical knowledge of automotive components associated with trucks, busses, trailers, etc.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong administration skills.
• Ability to work very accurately and with strong attention to detail.
• Ethical buying practices.
