A well-established catering company based in Somerset West, Cape Town is in search of a Sous Chef to assist with the preparation and running of catering at events including weddings and corporates and high end functions.
Job Requirements:
- Chef Diploma/certificate
- Valid South African Drivers license
- Own, reliable car essential
- Minimum of 5 Years experience as Sous Chef within high end catering environment
- Able to manage the catering of events and lead a team
- Be able to train staff
- Computer knowledge Microsoft Office
- Stock control
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willing to work shifts based on the events booked
- Able to make correct decisions regarding business and staffing issues.
- Reduce & monitor all wastage.
- Monitor & log kitchen hygiene reports
- Excellent communication and client relations skills
- Reside in the surrounding area of the Helderberg and Stellenbosch areas
