Executive Chef

Position: Executive Chef (Ship Experienced)

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have previous ship experience and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and develop menus for all onboard restaurants, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and guest preferences
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of all meals, ensuring high quality and consistency
• Manage and train a team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff to maintain a high level of performance and service
• Monitor food and supply inventory levels, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock
• Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other department heads to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the culinary offerings on board

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in a cruise ship setting
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Extensive knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed
• Must hold a valid passport and be able to pass a background check
