Pastry Chef

Key responsibilities
- Prepare and present a wide range of pastries, desserts, breads, and baked goods
- Design seasonal dessert menus in collaboration with the Head Chef
- Ensure all baked goods meet the lodges 5-star standards in taste and presentation
- Manage stock levels and order supplies efficiently
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards at all times
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in pastry techniques
- Cater to special dietary requirements and guest preferences
- Formal pastry or culinary qualification
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in a pastry role, preferably in a luxury lodge or hotel
- Strong knowledge of classic and modern pastry techniques
- Passion for creative plating and high-end presentation
- Ability to work in a remote lodge environment
- Excellent time management and communication skills
