Senior Regional Manager: Employee Benefits
Are you a strategic leader with a deep mastery of the South African Employee Benefits landscape? We are seeking a high-caliber professional to drive sales strategy, operational excellence, and innovation across a national footprint.
As a key member of the distribution leadership team, you will ensure the delivery of world-class consulting and administrative services to retirement fund members and employers.
This role is about more than just oversight; it is about shaping the future of EB distribution. You will be responsible for:
- Strategic Leadership: Implementing and refining an impactful EB sales strategy that standardizes advice, processes, and systems across multiple offices.
- Operational Excellence: Monitoring SLAs and turnaround times for high-level deliverables, such as member benefit statements.
- Innovation & Growth: Driving initiatives that keep the business competitive while maximizing margins and profitability.
- Talent Development: Recruiting and vesting Employee Benefits expertise within adviser offices and driving succession planning.
- Stakeholder Management: Building robust internal and external relationships and providing technical input to advisory teams.
Requirements:
- Education: A Financial or Commercial degree (BCom and/or CFP) is essential.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Successful completion of Regulatory Exams (RE1 and RE5).
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of senior/executive management experience within a large South African EB administrator.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of the EB market, advice processes, and employer/member portal functionality.
- Business Acumen: Proven experience in financial and budget management, as well as client segmentation.
- Ability to influence and challenge at an executive level.
- Resilience and tenacity in an adapting environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A results-oriented mindset with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Location: National (South Africa).
- Employment Status: Full-Time, Senior Level.
